You're looking at the portfolio of Ben Rodgers. Here you'll find some of my most recent work so you can get a better idea of who I am and what I do. I'm currently studying Visual Communication Technology at Bowling Green State University in Ohio. When I'm not in class or at my home computer I'm enjoying my job at the University bookstore as an assistant web designer. I like to experiment with new technologies and processes to achieve a solid design in my work. While I keep my main focus on web related media I'm also interested in photography, digital painting and 3d modeling. Medina Mattress - Web

A local mattress store was looking for an informative site that showcased their merchandise, charity work and core values. Reproducing the original logo was needed due to the client misplacing their file. Soft harmony color tones were used to visually express their low pressure sales attitude.

Eagle Painting - Print

I've always been impressed and inspired by artists who use photoshop and similar applications to "paint". I spent a few days doing an independent study on the techniques used by such artists and came out with a painting I was pretty happy with. I really enjoyed this project and will continue to explore this area of digital art.
