Gee Bee
This model is a Gee Bee prop plane. It was modeled and textured in 3ds max. I have since made the switch to Maya and am currently working on an updated and more detailed version.
Poly Guitar
My first completed project after learning Maya. The final shot of the model was rendered using mental ray.
Volumetric Study
I personally think one of nature's most wonderful phenomenons is volumetric lighting / god rays. I experimented with the capabilities of Vue 6 rendering and lighting and this is what I came up with.
Lighthouse
One of my favorite pieces of architecture are lighthouses. The lighthouse was modeled in 3ds max, textured using photoshop, then imported into Vue 6 where the bay was created. A very simple but effective render.
Bulova
While attempting to teach myself 3d modeling I examined objects that I could physically hold. I figured if I could model the geometry of the watch band I could gain a better insight on 3d modeling.
Simple Geometry
Entering into the realm of 3d modeling can be intimidating. I wanted to begin with something extremely simple and these bullets are what transpired. A couple simple splines that were revolved and textured.
Forest Beach
One of my many experiments using the incredible piece of software called Vue. Vue is an environment rendering application and has been used in movies such as Pirates of the Caribbean.
